At Musa Calma, we consciously adhere to the high standards of established natural cosmetics certifications like NaTrue, Cosmos, or Ecocert, but we do not carry an official seal. Nevertheless, our products are created under strict natural cosmetic principles – out of conviction, not obligation.

Some products contain nature-identical preservatives, such as salicylic acid, sorbic acid, or benzyl alcohol, which are allowed in certified natural cosmetics when necessary for product safety. At Musa Calma too, we make sure to only use them where sensible and skin-friendly. They originate from natural raw materials and are modified or processed chemically. Musa Calma goes a step further by communicating more transparently. We have therefore indicated the percentage of nature-identical preservatives, the so-called natural origin, on the respective skin care products. The natural origin index shows the percentage of natural origin, minus the nature-identical preservatives.
